I highly recommend this for anyone in the Dissertation process that is using quantitative methods.
It is literally saving me from drowning!
It is very clearly written and it's helping me organize and stay on topic.

Basic Statistics Book

This book is sold as a student's handbook to quantitative psychology research. It is not that AT ALL. It is more like a basic statistics book (covering design, hypothesis testing, and basic statistical tests). It does not cover current areas of research in quantitative psychology (probably because it is not very recent) that are relevant to the field today.
