It is irritating that you have to buy the next ...

It is irritating that you have to buy the next book to continue to read. These are NOT stand alone books nor or thy just a continuation of a story. In order to know an ending you have to keep reading. If I had really known that I would not have bought the books.

Frustrated

The first book was excellent and I gave it 5 stars. But the writing doesn't flow in this book like it did in the last one and I found myself skimming several pages because I became bored. I became frustrated because the author doesn't really let you in on how Cora is feeling in this book about her past much and you don't really learn anything new about it. I would like to know what happened to her but I'm not sure whether I have the patience for it. I would have liked for it to keep up the tension of the first book which is mostly about Cora. I wouldn't say it's a bad book, just not as great as expected. I think that the series should have been 3 books. Or if it's going to be 5 books, at least give you a special deal if you buy all 5 at once.

THIS IS NOT A SERIES............IT IS ONE BOOK DIVIDED INTO 5 SECTIONS

Although the author writes quite well, I cannot honestly give her 5 stars because of the
deceitful way she sells this book. It is ONE book divided into FIVE sections, and each
book starts off as a new chapter or section, taking up where the last book left off. It would
have been okay if she had sold each section more reasonably. To read the entire book you
have to end up paying $15.96 on Kindle. Thus, any admiration I gained for her writing abilities,
I ended up losing admiration in how she is marketing this book. I will not read anything else
she has written because of the way this story was sold.
