NOT the original Blotner biography.

It is not very clear in what I read here that this is NOT Blotner's original biography, but the abbreviated version. Since Blotner approved (however begrudgingly?) of the abbreviation, I am giving this edition the five stars the original clearly deserves (see the other reviews). But it should also be noted that there are none of the photographs in this publication (at least in the Kindle version) which so enhanced the original two-volume work. Read the original.

I understand the complaint of those who find this tome-length bio too inclusive of detail, but if you have a keen interest in Faulkner's work, this is an interesting and informative read.
